The Clark Atlanta University Players are going to put a twist on the famous Shakespeare play, "Macbeth."
The play will run from Wednesday, Apr. 24 to Saturday, Apr. 27 in Davage Auditorium. Each day, the play will start at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, there will be an additional show at 2:30 p.m. Directed by Professor Eric J. That is the main thing if they do not get anything else,” Little said when asked about what the audience should expect.

“I chose ‘Macbeth’ for a couple of reasons. One, I felt like it’s appropriate to the time because the wrong person being in charge and division. We see that with the United States of America within the president,” Little said. “So, it actually relates. Two, I think it is one of the most popular Shakespeare [plays]— most people know it. I think for the most part it is pretty simple to understand. And, personally it is one of my favorites too.”
Little and the CAU Players are going to try to attract students and residents in the Atlanta area to come to the play through various different activities. One event they are planning is called “Stroll with Professor Little and the CAU Players,” and it will be open to everyone to get people excited for the play.
